This sounds like a great way to begin converting incrementally to a full solar power house. I have always believed that the future of solar energy depended on a grass-roots explosion of do-it-yourself adventurers soaking up the sun's free and clean energy in incremental bit as their wallets allowed them to do, and not from mega government and big business ventures. Power to the people!
