…what key terms are bringing users to Brokekid.net. Two of my favorites thus far:
“Scott Stadum is an idiot”
“Brokekid is a fag”
I suppose if you wanted to, you really could leave messages for the website owner in the key terms. I’d really get the point if someone wrote “Scott Stadum is so freaking awesome, it blows my mind” into Google search and then clicked Brokekid.net when it came up.

http://ideablob.com/:
Develop an application for Facebook that will connect Peace Corps volunteer projects around the world to Facebook members who are willing to donate time/energy/resources to those projects. Donations of goods and services that aren’t locally available will allow volunteers to get many projects underway.

I love this idea so much, I started a Pledgebank pledge.
http://www.pledgebank.com/protestburma
Pledge “protestburma”
“I will send panties to the Burmese embassy but only if 5,000 other local people will do the same.”
Deadline to sign up by: 20th February 2008
0 people have signed up, 5000 more needed
Country: Myanmar
More details
Sending underwear/panties, a culturally insulting gesture of protest against the recent brutal crackdown, to Myanmar embassies around the world will send a strong message. It seems silly but it’s happening all over the world.
I have a second suggestion, why not send these embassies not just panties, how about all our junk mail, our AOL cds, old newspapers, you name it. Throw out the trash.

Take a look.
…one of the second-round winners, Scott Stadum, wants to develop an application for Facebook in which members who are willing to donate time, energy and other resources can connect with Peace Corps volunteer projects around the world.
Already, says Stadum, his Peace Corps application “has gotten a lot of traction.” Two parties who’ve seen his idea on IdeaBlob have reached out to him about possibly helping him get his idea off the ground. “That is the beauty of the Internet,” he says. “It allows the small guys to compete with the big guys.”
