Did you know? Cleaning up Gmail – overview

You’re inbox is still a mess and every time you open it, you feel a little bit of dread. So what can we do with what I’ve gone over so far?

Step 1 – search for your unread and unattended emails. This isn’t very difficult.

Type these words into your Gmail search box:

label:unread label:inbox

Step 2 – using shortcuts to quickly navigate through the mess of emails.

Step 3 – unsubscribe from all those newsletters you don’t want.

The next step? Labels. I’ll talk about those on Friday.
